Time to pay the fine…

Our last meeting of the month was on January 27th, 2011 in Beach Luxury Hotel. Although, we had no guest in our meeting but it was wonderful and successful. The credit goes to our members and specially our coach TM Farid who has taken upon his shoulders to work hard and make our club a successful club.

In Big-3 Toastmaster of the Evening was TM Izhar, Table Topic Master was TM Maneck ji and General Evaluator was TM Shahrukh.

Roles were performed by TM Farid as the Word-master, the Grammarian and the Table Topics Evaluator, TM Dr. Avan was the Timer and the vote-counter and TM Haris was the Ah-counter. The word of the day was ‘Thrifty.’

As our coach was reviewing the rules he discovered and shared with us that each member who is not going to use the word of the day will have to pay the fine to our treasurer TM Dr. Avan. This really compelled each and every member to us the word of the day in their speeches.

We had two prepared speeches. First one was delivered by Sajjad and he was evaluated by TM Haris. Our second speech of the day was delievered by TM Suleman and he was evaluated by TM Avan.

TM Dr. Avan won the award for the best Table Topic Speaker, TM Suleman won the award for the best prepared speaker, TM Izhar was declared the winner of the Big-3 and TM Maneck ji won the award for using the word of the day nine times in his speech.

We are expected to meet on Thursday 3, 2011 with same venue but new spirit and enthusiasm.
