Learn from the mistakes!

You can only learn from a mistake after you admit you’ve made it. As soon as you start blaming other people (or the universe itself) you distance yourself from any possible lesson. But if you courageously stand up and honestly say “This is my mistake and I am responsible” the possibilities for learning will move towards you. Admission of a mistake, even if only privately to yourself, makes learning possible by moving the focus away from blame assignment and towards understanding. Wise people admit their mistakes easily. They know progress accelerates when they do.

The last meeting of the Professional’s Toastmasters Club was on 15th March, 2012. The venue of the meeting was T2F (The Second Floor).

THINK DIFFERENT DO DIFFERENT…

A teacher entered in the classroom and without saying anything he drew a long line on the blackboard turned towards students and asked “Does anyone shorten this line without touching it”. All are quite only one student stood up and said, Sir for shorten this line we have to rub it with the duster, so we can’t do without touching it and all students said yes Sir. Teacher steered all students and without saying anything drew parallel line to the previous one but bigger. After that everyone saw that teacher made the line shorter without touching it.

The skill everyone has learnt that without letting down others you can make yourself up by becoming bigger than others.
