Stand Up



Professional Toastmasters Club held its meeting on December 21st, 2014. The total number of attendees was 8.

Sergeant at Arms, TM Shahrukh, called the meeting to session and Club President, TM Zafar, chaired the entire session. Toastmaster of the Evening was TM Haris, Table Topics Master was TM Fazal, General Evaluator was TM Zafar and Table Topics Evaluator was TM Rafi.

Roles were performed by TM Shahrukh as Ah-Counter, TM Neel as Timer and TM Fazal as Grammarian and Word Master. Word of the day was, ‘Stand Up.’

Educational Progeamme was presented by TM Zafar from the Successful Club Series. The title of the programme was ‘Keeping the Commitment.’

Two speeches were presented during the prepared speeches session. First speech was delivered by TM Noman. He presented project 6 from the Competent Communicator manual. The title of his speech was, ‘wasted opportunities.’ His evaluator was TM Neel.

Second speech was delivered by TM Shahrukh. He presented his project 5 from the manual, ‘Story telling.’ He was evaluated by TM Parveen. The title of his speech was, ‘Heavenly Kingdom of Great Peace.’

choices

Professional Toastmasters club held its meeting on December 7th, 2014. Total 10 people attended the meeting. The theme of the meeting was, ‘choices.’ The venue of the meeting was Avari Towers and the time for assembly was 3:30 pm.

Sergeant-at-Arms, TM Shahrukh called the meeting to order and TM Zafar presided over the meeting. Toastmaster of the Day was TM Nazir, Table Topics Master was TM Noman, General Evaluator was TM Rafi and Table Topics Evaluator was TM Fazal.

Roles were performed by TM Karan as the Ah-Counter, TM Zulfiqar as the Timer and TM Zafar as the Grammarian and Word Master. Word of the day was, ‘vex.’


TM Zafar conducted an educational programme from the Successful Club Series, ‘Setting the Stage for Success: Meeting Roles and Responsibilities.’

In the Prepared Speeches session, TM Zulfiqar presented Project 6 from the Competent Communicator manual. The title of his speech was, ‘true visionary.’ He was evaluatd by TM Zafar.


TM Nazir repeated Project 2 from the Competent Communicator manual. The title of his speech was, ‘Aging.’ He was evaluated by TM Fazal.

Professional Toastmasters Club held its meeting on November 30th, 2014. Total eight people attended the meeting. The venue of the meeting was Avari towers and the time for assembly was 3:30 pm.

Roleswere performed by TM Shahrukh as the Ah-counter and Timer and TM Noman as the Grammarian and Word Master. The word of the day was ‘reassurance.’


In the Prepared Speeches session, TM Zafar presented Project 2 from manual, Communicating on Video. He was evaluated by TM Fazal. The title of his speech was, ‘Understanding Contemporary Fiction.’

Second speech was delivered by TM Noman. He presented Project 5 from Competent Communicator manual. The title of his speech was, ‘reading gestures.’ He was evaluated by TM Fahim.


The last speech of the day was presented by TM Shahrukh. He was evaluated by TM Hanif. The title of his speech was, ‘the Fall of Greatness.’ He repeated Project 4 from the Story Telling manual.
