An Evening with Destiny


Feeling down or had a bad day at work, attending meeting at Professional Toastmasters Club may be the answer to your worries. That was what we experienced yesterday at the weekly meeting of Professional Toastmasters Club. The meeting which was attended by 8 people of which 1 was a guest, experienced a new energy and re invigoration. Indeed we were short of numbers but there was no dearth of zeal. TM Izhar conducted the programme will zeal and die-hard spirit motivating participants with forceful style. TM Mahmood as Table Topics Master challenged the impromptu speakers with interesting topics.

The main feature of the meeting was prepared speech session. TM Shahrukh, while delivering his speech from Advanced Manual, 'inter-personal communication' highlighted the key success factors in effective negotiation. He was evaluated by TM Harris. TM Sameer's speech from advanced manual, 'story telling' captivated the audience and highlighted the importance of proper prior planning before undertaking a journey. His speech was evaluated by TM Farid.

The evaluation session was conducted by TM Sameer. Table topics were evaluated by TM Farid. Interestingly TM Sameer was voted as the best table topics speaker and best prepared speaker.
