A Threat!

We had a wonderful meeting on 20th January, 2011. We had a smooth sailing without any disturbance or any other kind of unpleasant event. In absence of our president, TM Iqbal Bakshi provided his services as the Presiding officer of the meeting. As our club coach, TM Farid had worked on the defined goals to improve the quality of our club meetings. The meeting started after the Toastmasters pledge was administered by TM Izhar. TM Umer was threatened by TM Dr. Avan for not being regular but we hope to see him in our future meetings.


Toastmaster of the evening was TM Dr. Avan who conducted the entire show irrespective of the fact she had a terrible neck ache. Table Topic Master of TM Shahrukh and General Evaluator was TM Farid.

The roles were conducted by TM Izhar as the timer, TM Shahrukh as the Grammarian and the vote-counter, TM Farid was the word-master and proposed three words (Grift, Snafu and R&R) and TM Junaid was the Ah-Counter (along with TM Farid).


Two prepared speeches were delivered by TM Iqbal Bakshi and TM Panjwani. TM Bakshi was evaluated by TM Sajjad while TM Pajwani was evaluated by TM Maneck. Table topics were evaluated by TM Iqbal Bakshi.

TM Farid was the declared as the best Table-Topics speaker. TM Pajwani was the best Prepared-Speaker. TM Dr. Avan had wan the award for Big-3. The award for using the word(s) of the most of the time went to TM Junaid. Certificates for the most distinguish guests were awarded to our two guests and our potential future member. Our next meeting will be on 27th February at Hotel Beach Luxury.
