Persistence is the path to success. Toastmaster is the vehicle you arrive in.

PTC workshop started with great enthusiasm held on 12th January, 2012 at Beach Luxury Hotel.

Theme: ‘Realities of Life’

Fellow Toastmasters:

Toastmaster of the evening was TM Dr, Avan.
Table Topicmaster was DTM Fazal .
General Evaluator was TM Panjwani.
Table Topics Evaluator was TM Maneck.

Sergeant at Arms, TM Dr. Avan started with TM’s Pledge with full of energy.

Every Toastmaster was prepared to take responsibility for any unexpected absence of Toastmasters.

The team of the General Evaluator included TM Maneck as the Timer and the TM Adnan as the Vote Counter, TM Dr. Avan as the Grammarian, TM Maneck as the Ah-Counter and TM Fazal as the Word-Master.

Table Topics assigned by Topicmaster DTM Fazal were awesome.

Prepared Speech: TM Panjwani Evaluated by TM Fahim.

Prepared Speech: TM Hammad Evaluated by TM Adnan.

Important observations were made and shared in the Evaluation session.

The winner of the Prepared Speeches session was TM Panjwani and the runner up TM Hammad. And the winner of the Best Table Topics award was TM Hammad and the runner up TM Dr. Avan.

We ended up with the aim of making next session out of the box because we all know what life skills can Toastmasters help us to develop:

ü Thinking on your feet (table topics and evaluations)

ü Listening skills (evaluation, table topics, grammarian, etc.)

ü Time management (speaker, toastmaster, general evaluator, timer)

ü Effective expression of ways for someone to improve (evaluator and general evaluator) especially helpful if you are required to give performance evaluations

ü Speaking skills in both formal and informal settings
