Round Robin



Professional Toastmasters Club held its meeting on 22nd December, 2013, at Carlton Hotel. The time of assembly was 3:30 pm.

Sergeant-at-Arms, TM Shahrukh, called the meeting in session and President TM Hanif presided over the meeting.

Toastmaster of the Day was TM Nazir who started the session with Round Robin. To learn more about Round Robin, visit:

Table Topics Master was TM Bakshi, and the time of the Table Topics was extended to 3 to 5 minutes.  

In the evaluation session, General Evaluator was TM Mujeeb and Table Topics Evaluator was TM Hanif.

Roles were performed by TM Hanif as the Word Master and TM Shahrukh as the Timer. Word of the day was ‘Singularity.’

In the Prepared Speeches session, TM Shahrukh repeated his Project 10 from the Competent Communicator manual. The title of his speech was, 'something to live for.' The event was on the death of the great statesman, Nelson Mandela. His evaluator was TM Nazir.

Teller of Stories



Professional Toastmasters Club held its meeting on 15th December, 2013. The venue was Carlton hotel and the time of assembly was 3:30 pm.


Sergeant-at-Arms, TM Shahrukh, called the meeting in session and TM Zafar presided over the meeting. The Table Topics Master was TM Fazal, Toastmaster of the Evening was TM Haris, while the entire evaluation session (General Evaluator, Table Topics Evaluator and Speech Evaluator) was conducted by TM Shahrukh.

 

Roles were performed by TM Fazal as the Ah-Counter, TM Muneef as the Timer, TM Zafar as the Word Master and TM Haris was the Grammarian.  

TM Zafar presented his first speech from the advance manual, ‘Speaking to Inform.’ The title of his speech was, ‘teller of stories.’

Mandela and Iqbal



Professional Toastmaster Club held its meeting on 8th December, 2013. The time of the assembly was 3:30 pm and venue was Carlton Hotel. Total nine people attended the meeting.


Sergeant-at-Arms, TM Shahrukh, called the meeting in session. The meeting was presided over by the President, TM Hanif, who started the meeting by presenting a tribute to Late Nelson Mandela and asked the audience to observe one minute silence in his honour.



Toastmaster of the meeting was TM Haris, Table Topics Master was TM Zafar, General Evaluator was TM Fazal and Table Topics Evaluator was TM Nazir. The theme of the Table Topics was Allama Iqbal.



Roles were performed by TM Shahrukh as the Ah-Counter and the Vote Counter, TM Hanif as the Word Master (Word of the day was Sanguine), TM Mujeeb as the Master Listener, and TM Muneef as the Timer.



Two speeches were performed in the Prepared Speeches session. First speech was presented by TM Muneef. He presented his Ice Breaker and it was evaluated by TM Hanif. 


TM Zafar presented his 10th Project from the Competent Communicator manual. The title of his speech was, ‘Be Positive – Be Hopeful.’ His Evaluator was TM Nazir.

TM Nazir presented a presentation. The title of his presentation was, ’humility.’

TM Haris was the winner of the Table Topics session and TM Muneef was the runner-up.

Chronicles



Professionals Toastmaster Club held its meeting on 1st December, 2013, at Carlton hotel. The time for assembly was 3:30 pm. Total 11 people attended the meeting.


The meeting was called in session by Sergeant-at-Arms, TM Shahrukh and President TM Hanif, presided over it. Toastmaster of the Evening was TM Mujeeb, Table Topics Master was TM Hanif, General Evaluator was TM Rafi and Table Topics Evaluator was TM Parveen.

 

Roles were performed by TM Muneef as the Ah-Counter, TM Chandna as the Timer, TM Shahrukh as the Vote Counter, TM Haris as the Grammarian and TM Zafar as the Word Master. Word of the day was ‘Chronicles.’

 

In the Prepared Speeches session, TM Zafar presented his Project 9 from the Competent Communicator manual. His evaluator was TM Hanif. The Title of his speech was, ‘Bindings of Legal System.’


Winner of the Table Topics session was TM Zafar and TM Haris was the runner-up.

Discern


Professional Toastmasters Club held its meeting on November 24th, 2013. The venue of the meeting was Carlton Hotel and the time of assembly was 3:30 pm. Total ten people attended the meeting.


The meeting was called by the Sergeant-at-Arms, TM Shahrukh, and it was presided over by the President, TM Hanif. TM Fazal was the Toastmaster of the Evening, TM Parveen was the Table Topics Master, TM Haris was the General Evaluator and TM Rafi was the Table Topics Evaluator. The theme of the meeting was ‘Life.’


Roles were performed by TM Haris as the Ah-Counter, TM Shahrukh as the Grammarian and the Vote Counter, TM Hanif as the Word Master and TM Muneef as the timer. Word of the day was ‘Discern.’


In the second session, prepared speech was delivered by TM Shahrukh, Project 2 from the Competent Communicator Manual. The title of the speech was, ‘What are you saying?’ The evaluator was TM Mujeeb.


The winners of the Table Topics session was TM Haris AND tm Fazal was the runner-up.

Professional Toastmasters Club held its meeting on November 10th, 2013 at Carlton Hotel. The time for assembly was 3:30 pm. Total 13 people attended the meeting.


Sergeant-at-Arms, TM Shahrukh, called the meeting in session and the meeting was presided over by TM Rafi. Toastmaster of the Day was TM Bakshi, Table Topics Master was TM Avan, General Evaluator was TM Shahrukh and Table Topics Evaluator was TM Parveen. 

 

Roles were performed by TM Ali Hassan as the Ah-Counter, TM Maneck as the Timer and the Word Master (Word of the day: resilient) and TM Shahrukh as the Grammarian.

 

In the Prepared Speeches session, TM Fazal repeated his project 10 from the Competent Communicator manual and his speech was evaluated by TM Zafar.

TM Imtiaz Paracha had also joined us and was asked to share his experience of the Toastmasters.
