Mandela and Iqbal



Professional Toastmaster Club held its meeting on 8th December, 2013. The time of the assembly was 3:30 pm and venue was Carlton Hotel. Total nine people attended the meeting.


Sergeant-at-Arms, TM Shahrukh, called the meeting in session. The meeting was presided over by the President, TM Hanif, who started the meeting by presenting a tribute to Late Nelson Mandela and asked the audience to observe one minute silence in his honour.



Toastmaster of the meeting was TM Haris, Table Topics Master was TM Zafar, General Evaluator was TM Fazal and Table Topics Evaluator was TM Nazir. The theme of the Table Topics was Allama Iqbal.



Roles were performed by TM Shahrukh as the Ah-Counter and the Vote Counter, TM Hanif as the Word Master (Word of the day was Sanguine), TM Mujeeb as the Master Listener, and TM Muneef as the Timer.



Two speeches were performed in the Prepared Speeches session. First speech was presented by TM Muneef. He presented his Ice Breaker and it was evaluated by TM Hanif. 


TM Zafar presented his 10th Project from the Competent Communicator manual. The title of his speech was, ‘Be Positive – Be Hopeful.’ His Evaluator was TM Nazir.

TM Nazir presented a presentation. The title of his presentation was, ’humility.’

TM Haris was the winner of the Table Topics session and TM Muneef was the runner-up.
