Hope & Lassitude

Professional Toastmasters Club held its meeting on 23rd June, 2013. Total 11 people attended the meeting. The Presiding Officer was TM Rafi Hyder and the oath was observed by Sergeant-at-Arms, TM Shahrukh.

Toastmaster of the Evening was TM Hanif, Table Topics Master was TM Fazal, TM Panjwani was the General Evaluator and TM Rafi was the Table Topics Evaluator. The theme of the meeting was, “Hope.”


Roles were performed by TM Danial as the Ah-Counter and Grammarian, TM Hanif as the Word-Master (Word of the day was Lassitude) and TM Adnan Motiwala as the Timer.







Prepared Speeches were delivered by TM Zafar and TM Shahrukh. TM Zafar presented his Project 5 from the Competent Communicator manual and the title of the speech was, ‘as luck would have it.” It was evaluated by TM Hanif Sattar.

The second speaker was TM Shahrukh. He presented his second project from the advance manual, Interpretive Reading. He was evaluated by TM Mujeeb.

The meeting was concluded by a beautiful poem of Faiz Ahmad Faiz by Zafar Iqbal which celebrated the meeting’s them, “Hope.”
