Dint

Professional Toastmasters Club held its meeting on October 6th, 2013. The venue for the meeting was the Carlton hotel and the time of assembly was 3:30 pm. Total eleven people attended the meeting.
 

Sergeant-at-Arms, TM Shahrukh, called the meeting in order and handed over the charge to the Presiding Officer, TM Hanif. Toastmaster of the Day was TM Fazal, Table Topics Master was TM Parveen, , General Evaluator was TM Fahim and Table Topics Evaluator was TM Shahrukh. TM Fazal rightly said while introducing the programme that Toastmaster of the Day is the head, General Evaluator is the Heart while Table Topics Evaluator is the soul of the entire meeting.
 

Roles were performed by TM Shahrukh as the Ah-Counter and Vote Counter, TM Hanif as the Word Master (word of the day was Dint), TM Zafar as the Grammarian and TM Muneef as the Timer.

Three prepared speeches were delivered in the Prepared Speeches session. First speech was delivered by TM Zafar who presented his project 8 from the Competent Communicator manual and was evaluated by TM Hanif. The title of his speech was, ‘Tools for Development.’
 
 

Second speech was delivered by TM Panjwani who repeated his project 2 from the Competent Communicator manual. The title of his speech was, ‘Listening Effectively.’

The last speech of the meeting was presented by TM Zulfiqar who also presented his project 2 from the Competent Communicator manual. The title of his speech was, ‘Paradox.’ He was evaluated by TM Fahim.

The winner of the Table Topics session was TM Zafar while TM Zulfiqar was the runner-up. In Prepared Speeches session, TM Panjwani was the winner and TM Zafar was the runner-up.
