what others expect from you



Professional Toastmasters Club held its meeting on August 10th, 2014, under new administration. It was the first club meeting after Eid and the venue of the meeting was Avari hotel. Total eight people attended the meeting. The theme of the meeting was, ‘what others expect from you.’


Sergeant-at-Arms, TM Shahrukh, called the meeting to order and the new Club President, TM Zafar, welcomed every participant and presented a vote of thanks to the Past Club President, TM Hanif, and his entire team for the successful completion of their term.


Toastmaster of the Day was TM Hanif, Table Topics Master was TM Zafar and the entire evaluation session was conducted by TM Parveen.

Roles were performed by TM Haroon as the Timer and TM Aqeel as the Grammarian and the Word-Master. Word of the day was ‘Cocker’, meaning to spoil and pamper.

In the Prepared Speeches session, TM Shahrukh repeated his second project from the Competent Communicator manual and he was evaluated by TM Parveen. The title of his speech was, ‘From Haziq-ul-Mulk to Masih-ul-Mulk.’
