How to Make the World a Better Place

Professional Toastmasters Club organised a speech contest on October 26th, 2014. The venue of the meeting was Avari hotel and the time of assembly was 3:30 pm. Total ten people attended the meeting. The theme of the contest was, ‘How to Make the World a Better Place.’


The roles were performed by TM Zafar as the chair, TM Shahrukh as the Toastmaster of the Day and TM Neel as the Timer.

The honourable panel of judges included TM Sajjad and TM Parveen.

First speech was presented by TM Hanif and the title of his speech was, ’Tolerance.’ Second speech was delivered by TM Zafar and the title of his speech was, ‘The Art of Making People Happy.’ The third speech was by TM Shahrukh and its title was, ‘Only Guns and No Roses.’ TM Zulfiqar presented the fourth speech of the contest and its title was, ‘Positive Energy.’ Last speech was delivered by TM Noman and the title of his speech was, ‘Benefits of Economic Developments.’

 

The winner of the speech contest was TM Zafar and the Runner-up speaker was TM Shahrukh.

Happy Birth Day Professional Toastmasters Club


                                             



Professionals Toastmasters Club held its meeting on October 19th, 2014. The venue of the meeting was Avari hotel. The time of assembly was 3:30 pm and total ten people attended the meeting. President TM Zafar shared the award which the Professionals Toastmasters Club received from the Toastmasters International for the achievement of the club’s 5th Anniversary.

The meeting was called to order by Sergeant-at-Arms, TM Shahrukh, and chaired by Club President, TM Zafar. The Toastmaster of the Evening was TM Parveen, Table Topics Master was TM Fazal, General Evaluator was TM Hanif and Table Topics Evaluator was TM Zulfiqar.

Roles were performed by TM Shahrukh as the Ah Counter, TM Noman as the Timer and TM Hanif as the Grammarian and the Word Master. The Word of the day was ‘Dabble.’

There were four speeches in the Prepared Speeches session. The first speech was delivered by TM Zafar. He was evaluated by TM Fazal. He presented project 4 from the manual, Special Occasion Speeches. The title of his speech was, ‘The Man I Adore.’

The second speech was delivered by TM Hanif. He was evaluated by TM Zafar. He presented project 2 from the manual, Speeches by Management. The title of his speech was, ‘Fund Management.’

The third speech was delivered by TM Zulfiqar. He was evaluated by TM Shahrukh. He presented project 4 from the Competent Communicator Manual. The title of his speech was, ‘Path to Success.’

The last speech was delivered by TM Shahrukh. He was evaluated by TM Parveen. He presented his project 1 from the manual, Story Telling. The title of his speech was, ‘Look Closely for the Moon.’

Saluting Paulo Coelho

Paulo Coelho, is a Brazilian lyricist and novelist.The Alchemist, his most famous novel, has been translated into 80 languages.



Professional Toastmasters Club held its meeting on October 12th, 2014. The venue of the meeting was Avari hotel and the time of assembly was 3:30 pm.

TM Fazal called the meeting to order and TM Zafar, President, chaired the entire session. TM Noman was the Toastmaster of the Evening and TM Hanif was the General Evaluator.

TM Noman was the Table Topics Master and TM Zafar was the Table Topics Evaluator.

TM Hanif was the Ah-Counter and well as the Word Master. Word of the day was ‘Emulate.’

Prepared Speech was given by TM Zafar from the Advance Communication manual, ‘Speaking on special Ocassion.’ He presented fist project. The title of his speech was ‘Saluting Paulo Coelho.’

Professional Toastmaster Club held its meeting on September 28th, 2014, at Avari Hotel. Total nine people attended the meeting. The theme of the meeting was, ‘Sky is the Limit.’

The meeting was called to order by Sergeant-at-Arms, TM Shahrukh, and it was chaired by Club President, TM Zafar. Toastmaster of the Day was TM Fazal, Table Topics Master was TM Zulfiqar, General Evaluator was TM Shahrukh and Table Topics Evaluator was TM Hanif.

Roles were performed by TM Shahrukh as Timer, and TM Hanif as the Grammarian and Word Master. Word of the day was ‘venomous.’

In Prepared Speeches session, two speeches were presented. First speech was presented by TM Zafar. He presented project 5 from the Advance Communication Manual, Professional Speaker. The title of his speech was ‘be a nationalist.’ He was evaluated by TM Hanif.


Second speech was presented by TM Noman. He presented his Ice Breaker form the Competent Communicator manual. His evaluator was TM Zulfiqar.

Professional Toastmaster Club held its meeting on September 21st, 2014, at Avari Hotel. Total six people attended the meeting. The theme of the meeting was, ‘Fundamental Rights.’


The meeting was called to order by Sergeant-at-Arms, TM Shahrukh, and it was chaired by Club President, TM Zafar. Toastmaster of the Day was TM Irfan, Table Topics Master was TM Fazal, and the Evaluation session was headed by TM Shahrukh.


Roles were performed by TM Zafar as the Ah-Counter, TM Noman as the Timer and TM Karran as the Grammarian and Word Master. The word of the day was, ‘pleasure.’

In Prepared Speeches Session, TM Zafar presented Project 4 from the Advance Communication Manual, Professional Speaker. The title of his speech was ‘Reading in Fiction.’ His evaluator was TM Shahrukh.
