‘International Day for Tolerance’ and ‘the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims.’



Professional Toastmaster Club held its meeting on November 16th, 2014. The interesting thing about November 16th was that it was also ‘International Day for Tolerance’ and ‘the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims.’ Total six people attended the meeting. The theme of the meeting was, ‘take charge of your life.’


Sergeant-at-Arms, TM Shahrukh, called the meeting to order, and the Club President, TM Zafar, chaired the entire session. TM Fazal was the Toastmaster of the Evening, TM Hanif was the Table Topics Master, TM Anjumani was the General Evaluator, and TM Nazir was the Table Topics Evaluator.


Roles were performed by TM Shahrukh as the Timer and TM Hanif as the Grammarian and Word Master. Word of the day was, ‘Boomerang.’

In the prepared speeches session, there were two speeches. First speech was presented by TM Zafar. He presented Project 5 from the manual of Special Occasion speeches. The title of his speech was Motivating Matters. He was evaluated by TM Fazal.


The second speech was presented by TM Shahrukh. He was evaluated by TM Hanif. He presented Project 3 from the Story Telling manual. The title of his speech was, ‘the Stupid Donkey and the Joker Jackal.’
