Why?

Professional Toastmasters Club held its meeting on January 18th, 2015. The venue of the meeting was Avari Towers and theme of the meeting was, ‘Why?’

Sergeant-at Arms, TM Shahrukh called the meeting to order and Club President, TM Zafar chaired the entire session.

Toastmaster of the Day was TM Neel, Table Topics Master was TM Zafar, General Evaluator was TM Shahrukh and Table Topics Evaluator was TM Rafi.

Roles were performed by TM Shahrukh as the Ah-Counter, TM Noman as the Timer and TM Zafar as the Grammarian and Word Master. The word of the day was, ‘unexpectedly.’

Five speeches were performed during the Prepared Speeches session. First speech was delivered by TM Noman. He presented project 10 from the Competent Communicator manual. The title of his speech was, ‘discipline.’ He was evaluated by TM Zafar.

Second speech was delivered by TM Zulfiqar. He was evaluated by TM Parveen. The title of his speech was, ‘life through a lense.’ He presented project 10 from the Competent Communicator manual.

Third speech was delivered by TM Parveen and she was evaluated by TM Shahrukh. Her speech title was, ‘what is in the name?’ and her evaluator was TM Shahrukh. She repeated project 2 from the Competent Communicator manual.

Fourth speech was delivered by TM Zafar. He presented project 3 from the Advance Communication manual,’ Communicating on Television.’ He was evaluated by TM Zulfiqar.

Fifth speech was delivered by TM Neel. She repeated project 2 from the Competent Communicator manual. She was evaluated by TM Shahrukh. Her speech was evaluated by TM Shahrukh. The title of her speech was, ‘Repaying Kindness.’
