Mother’s Day



Professionals Toastmasters Club held its meeting on 10th May, 2015, at Avari Towers. The time of assembly was 3:30 pm and total 8 people attended the meeting. The theme of the meeting was ‘Mother’s Day.’

The meeting was called to order by TM Shahrukh and the meeting was chaired by the president, TM Zafar. Toastmaster of the Evening was TM Rashid, Table Topics Master was TM Parveen, General Evaluator was TM Rafi and Table Topics Evaluator was TM Karan.


Roles were performed by TM Shahrukh as the Ah-Counter and as the Timer, while TM Hanif performed the role of Word Master and Grammarian. Word of the day was, ‘Frabjous.’

In the Prepared Speeches session, first speech was presented by TM Hanif. It was a special speech based on the book, 'the Alchemist' by Paulo Coelho. He was evaluated by TM Zafar. The title of his speech was, ‘journey.’

Second speech was presented by TM Karan. He presented project 3 from the Competent Communicator manual. The title of his speech was, ‘civilisations.’ He was evaluated by TM Parveen.

With the help of TM Zafar, Professionals Toastmasters Club also organised a dinner on Friday night, 8th May, 2015, to honour the Past President, TM Hanif, and to celebrate his recent promotion. Members from other Toastmaster clubs as well as past members also joined us on this auspicious occasion.
