Always go for the Gold

Our club is facing many crises but still our meeting on 4th November, 2010 was a success. Only four members were present but each one played multiple roles. The first session of the program was an informal, round table discussion among the members on the security situation of our city. After refreshments, meeting officially commenced with the pledge of the Toastmasters.

The Big Three of our meeting were: TM Shahrukh as the Toastmasters of the Evening, TM Fahim as the Table Topic Master, TM Sajjad as the General Evaluator and Table Topic Evaluator was TM Sattar.
Multiple roles were performed by each member. TM Sajjad was the Vote Counter and the Timer, TM Fahim was the AH Counter and the Grammarian and TM Shahrukh was the Word Master of the day.
Inetead of the prepared speeches session, we had a round table discussion before the meeting and afterwards, there were two rounds of the Table Topic Session. Word of the day was Peril.
The theme of the meeting was 'Always go for the Gold' and we recalled the story of Mary Lou Retteon and her perfect 10 score. Sign of the day was Yellow Ribbon to symbolise hope and colours were Yellow, Orange and Gold. Table Topics were on the subject of 'Habits' and was a real test for our speaking skills.
TM Fahim was the winner with his winning line:
"Pakistan was created out of hope and not out of hate."
