Combines Meeting of 10th March, 2013
The combined meeting of Professionals Toastmasters Club and
Clifton Toastmasters Club was held on 10th March, 2013. The venue of
the meeting was Carlton Hotel. Total 15 members participated.
The oath ceremony was observed by our young member, TM
Taimur, who handed the lectern to the Presiding officer, TM Adnan. Toastmaster
of the Meeting was TM Shahrukh, Table Topics Master was TM Adnan, General
Evaluator was TM Hanif Sattar and Table Topics Evaluator was TM Khalid.
TM Chandna was the Time. Word-master and Grammarian was TM Liaquat
Ali and word of the day was “Conviction”.
TM Bakshi was the Vote Counter and the Ah-Counter.
Table topics session was dedicated to the Women’s Day (8th,
March). Prepared speeches were presented by TM Daniyal and TM Sajjad who were
evaluated by TM Bakshi and TM Rafi Haider, respectively. A special session was
also organized where TM Zafar Iqbal presented the audience with the insight of
the fiction novels with specific reference to the major themes of the four major
novels. TM Daniyal
was the winner of the Prepared Speeches Session.
