Formal tone must be used

While presenting his Grammarian report, TM Imran pointed out that the informal words (like, so that etc) should always be avoided and formal tone must be used while quoting someone.

The combined meeting of Professional Toastmasters Club (PTC) and Clifton Toastmasters Club (CTC) was held on 24th March, 2013. Total nine members attended the meetign. Excluding TM Sohail who joined us later in the evening.

The oath was observed by TM Shahrukh and the meeting was presided over by TM Zafar Iqbal. The Big-3 included TM Sattar as the Toastmaster of the Evening, TM Daniyal as the Table Topics Master and TM Liaquat as the General Evaluator. Table Topics Evaluator was TM Zafar Iqbal.

Roles were performed by TM Jaan as the Ah-Counter, TM Panjwani as the Word-master (word of the Day was “Creative”), TM Imran as the Grammarian and TM Aqeel as the Timer.

The Table Topics Master created an imaginary water project company and assigned every speaker a designation in that company. The catch, however, was that every member had to explain himself before and after the training.
