LOOSEN UP!



Professional Toastmasters Club organised its meeting on September 15th, 2013. Total eleven members attended the meeting.

 


The meeting was called in session by Sergeant-at-Arms, TM Shahrukh, and it was presided over by the Club President, TM Hanif. TM Shahrukh also shared the article of the week, “HOW TO LOOSEN UP! Avoid the stiff mannequin-style delivery” by Ernest C. Daw [http://magazines.toastmasters.org/display_article.php?id=1371260]

Toastmaster of the Evening was TM Fazal and the Table Topics Master was TM Parveen. The theme of the meeting was ‘Courage.’ General Evaluator was TM Rafi and Table Topics Evaluator was TM Nazir.


Roles were performed by TM Haroon as the Ah-Counter, TM Ashraf as the Grammarian, TM Hanif as the Word Master and TM Imran as the Timer.


Two speeches were delivered in the prepared speeches session. TM Shahrukh presented second project from the Advance Manual, “Interpretive Reading.” He was evaluated by TM Mujeeb. The poem was, ‘Asking for Roses’ by Robert Frost.

The second speech was the Ice Breaker my TM Zulfiqar. He was evaluated by TM Hanif.
