Put Your Hands Where They Belong



Professional Toastmasters Club held its meeting on September 8th, 2013, at Carlton Hotel. Total 10 people attended the meeting out of which 3 were guests. We were also honoured to have TM Nazir with us after such a long time.

Sergeant-at-arms was TM Shahrukh who initiated the meeting, and President TM Hanif was the presiding officer. 


Toastmaster of the evening TM Haris, Table Topics Master was TM Fazal, General Evaluator was TM Nazir and Table Topics Evaluator was TM Fahim. The theme of the day was ‘Dreams.’


Roles were performed by TM Shahrukh as the Ah-Counter and Vote counter, TM Hanif as the Grammarian and Word-Master, and Zulfiqar as the Timer.

In the Prepared speeches session, TM Shahrukh repeated project 10 from the Competent Communicator manual and he was evaluated by TM Mujeeb. The title of the speech was ‘Sky is your limit.’ During his evaluation, he shared the answer of the age old question related to not to clasp hands while speaking to the public. The question was where to put your hands if not clasp them? The answer was to put them where they belong! 


TM Fahim was asked to give a short presentation on Golf.
