Paradigm



Professional Toastmasters Club held its meeting on 25th May, 2014 at Avari hotel. The time of assembly was 3:30 pm. Total nine people attended the meeting. The club was honoured to have TM Rafi in the meeting after a very long time. The theme of the meeting was ‘Fears of Life.’


Sergeant-at-Arms called the meeting to order and TM Parveen chaired the meeting. Toastmaster was TM Zafar, Topicmaster was TM Aqeel, General Evaluator was TM Fazal and Table Topics Evaluator was TM Shahrukh.

Roles were performed by TM Ali as the Ah-Counter, TM Shahrukh as the Timer and TM Zafar as the Grammarian and Word master. Word of the day was ‘Paradigm.’



In Prepared Speaker session, TM Zafar presented Project 2 from the Advance Communicator manual, ‘Professional Speaker.’ The title of his speech was ‘People and Events I Observe.’ He was evaluated by TM Fazal.

Axiomatic


Professional Toastmasters Club held its meeting on 18th May, 2014 at Avari Hotel. The Time of assembly was 3:30 pm. Total ten people attended the meeting. The theme of the meeting was, ‘Sky is your Limit.’


The duties of Sergeant-at-Arms were performed by TM Danial and President TM Hanif presided over the entire meeting. Toastmaster of the Evening was TM Parveen, Table Topics Master was TM Fazal, General Evaluator was TM Zafar and Table Topics Evaluator was TM Aqeel.

Roles were performed by TM Shahrukh as the Timer, TM Saqib as the Ah-Counter and TM Hanif as the Word master and Ah-Counter. Word of the day was ‘Axiomatic.’

In the Prepared Speeches session, TM Shahrukh presented project 5 from the Advance Communicator Manual, ‘Interpretive Reading.’ The title of his speech was, ‘You are Free.’ His evaluator was TM Hanif.


The second speech in the Prepared Speeches session was made by TM Zafar. He completed his first project from the Advance Manual, ‘The Professional Speaker.’ The title of his speech was ‘Elements of International Trade.’ His Evaluator was TM Fazal.

Somnolence

Professional Toastmasters Club held it meeting on 11th May, 2014. The venue of the meeting was Avari hotel and the time of assembly was 3:30 p.m.


Sergeant-at-Arms called the meeting to order. The meeting was chaired by the club president, TM Hanif.



Toastmaster was TM Hanif, Topic-Master was TM Danial and General Evaluator was TM Parveen.

Roles were performed by TM Aqeel as the Table Topics Evaluator, TM Danish as the Timer, TM Hanif as the Ah Counter and TM Shahruh as the Grammarian and Word Master. Word of the Day was ‘Somnolence.’


In the Prepared Speeches session, TM Shahrukh repeated his second project from the Competent Communicator manual. TM Parveen was his speech Evaluator and the title of the speech was ‘Learn from history.’

Second speech was presented by TM Danial. He completed his project nine from the Competent Communicator manual. The title of his speech was ‘Sustainability and Environment.’ His speech evaluator was TM Hanif.




On 9th May, 2014, Professional Toastmasters Club helped the staff of Nex-Source Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd.  organise a meeting at Emerald Tower. PTC wishes them good luck for starting the journey of Toastmesters.

Behove



Professional Toastmasters Club held its meeting on 4th May, 2014. The venue of the meeting was Avari. Time of assembly was 3:30 p.m. 

Sergeant-at-Arms, TM Shahrukh called the meeting to order and handed the charge to the president, TM Hanif. Toastmaster of the Meeting was TM Parveen, Table Topic Master was TM Danial and General Evaluator was TM Shahrukh.

 

Table Topics Evaluator was TM Hanif, Timer was TM Aqeel, Ah Counter was TM Shahrukh, and Word-Master and Grammarian was TM Hanif. Word of the Day was ‘Behove.’

In Prepared Speeches session, TM Aqeel repeated the second project from the Competent Communicator manual and it was evaluated by TM Hanif. The title of his speech was “if ‘why’ is strong, ‘how’ becomes easy.”


The second speech was presented by TM Shahrukh. He repeated the second project from the Competent Communicator manual. The title of his speech was ‘Trust Makes the World Goes Round.’ His evaluator was TM Parveen.

Powder-keg




Professional Toastmasters Club held its meeting on 27th April, 2014. Venue of the meeting was Avari hotel. Time for the assembly was 3:30 p.m. The theme of the meeting was 'Life.'

Sergeant-at-Arms, TM Shahrukh, called the meeting to order, and Club President, TM Hanif, presided over the entire meeting.



Toastmaster of the Evening was TM Bakshi, Topicmaster was TM Fazal, General Evaluator was TM Parveen, and Table Topics Evaluator was TM Izhar.


The role of Timer was performed by TM Danial, Ah-Counter by TM Parveen, and Grammarian and Word-master by TM Hanif. Word of the Day was ‘powder-keg.’


In the prepared speeches session, three speeches were presented. TM Zafar presented the first speech of the meeting from the Advance Communicator Manual, ‘Story Telling’. His evaluator was TM Fazal. The title of his speech was, ‘Persian King and his Commander-in-Chief.’

Second speech of the session was presented by TM Shahrukh. His evaluator was TM Zafar. He presented fourth project from the Advance Communicator Manual, ‘Interpretive Reading’, and the title of his speech was, ‘Twenty Minutes with Mrs. Oakentubb.’
 
The third and last speech was presented by TM Danial. His Evaluator was TM Hanif. He presented his seventh project from the Competent Communicator Manual. The title of his speech was ‘Powder-Keg in the Stock Market.’
