Powder-keg




Professional Toastmasters Club held its meeting on 27th April, 2014. Venue of the meeting was Avari hotel. Time for the assembly was 3:30 p.m. The theme of the meeting was 'Life.'

Sergeant-at-Arms, TM Shahrukh, called the meeting to order, and Club President, TM Hanif, presided over the entire meeting.



Toastmaster of the Evening was TM Bakshi, Topicmaster was TM Fazal, General Evaluator was TM Parveen, and Table Topics Evaluator was TM Izhar.


The role of Timer was performed by TM Danial, Ah-Counter by TM Parveen, and Grammarian and Word-master by TM Hanif. Word of the Day was ‘powder-keg.’


In the prepared speeches session, three speeches were presented. TM Zafar presented the first speech of the meeting from the Advance Communicator Manual, ‘Story Telling’. His evaluator was TM Fazal. The title of his speech was, ‘Persian King and his Commander-in-Chief.’

Second speech of the session was presented by TM Shahrukh. His evaluator was TM Zafar. He presented fourth project from the Advance Communicator Manual, ‘Interpretive Reading’, and the title of his speech was, ‘Twenty Minutes with Mrs. Oakentubb.’
 
The third and last speech was presented by TM Danial. His Evaluator was TM Hanif. He presented his seventh project from the Competent Communicator Manual. The title of his speech was ‘Powder-Keg in the Stock Market.’
