Somnolence

Professional Toastmasters Club held it meeting on 11th May, 2014. The venue of the meeting was Avari hotel and the time of assembly was 3:30 p.m.


Sergeant-at-Arms called the meeting to order. The meeting was chaired by the club president, TM Hanif.



Toastmaster was TM Hanif, Topic-Master was TM Danial and General Evaluator was TM Parveen.

Roles were performed by TM Aqeel as the Table Topics Evaluator, TM Danish as the Timer, TM Hanif as the Ah Counter and TM Shahruh as the Grammarian and Word Master. Word of the Day was ‘Somnolence.’


In the Prepared Speeches session, TM Shahrukh repeated his second project from the Competent Communicator manual. TM Parveen was his speech Evaluator and the title of the speech was ‘Learn from history.’

Second speech was presented by TM Danial. He completed his project nine from the Competent Communicator manual. The title of his speech was ‘Sustainability and Environment.’ His speech evaluator was TM Hanif.




On 9th May, 2014, Professional Toastmasters Club helped the staff of Nex-Source Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd.  organise a meeting at Emerald Tower. PTC wishes them good luck for starting the journey of Toastmesters.
