TM Raza Abidi presided over the meeting. He brilliantly explained the benefits of communication skills and how being regular to the Toastmasters can help us improve. According to him, Toastmasters can help us at both the levels i.e. Interpersonal and Public speaking.

Table Topic’s session was successfully conducted by TM Mehmood. The most entertaining topic was the qualities of our beloved president. The topic was assigned to TM Nazeer Vaid who joined us after a very longtime. We hope to see more of you!

Prepared speeches were delivered by TM Shahrukh (Advance Manual: Speaking to Inform-Project 2) and TM Junaid (Competent Communication Manual-Project 2). First speech was to clarify myths about Pakistan and second speech focused on the environment and how can we play our role to minimize the threat.

Our last session was conducted by TM Dr. Avan as the General Evaluator. She was of the opinion that the new venue was too small for our club to conduct meetings. This will be discussed and final decision will be taken by the consent and vote of the members. TM Sajjad was the Evluator for the Table Topics and he gave a wonderful evaluation even when there was a power outage in the middle of his evaluation.

The meeting was informative and entertaining. We hope to hold our last meeting of the year on 30th December, 2010 and make it the most memorable one.

Three guests honoured us with their presence. Mr. Muntazir Ali, Mr. Gibran Ashrad and Mr. Saad Shah attended the meeting and have promised to become the regular members of our club.

Unfortunately, as soon as we were about to enjoy our second speech, we heard a blast. There was a bomb blast nearby and so we had to adjourn our meeting.
