a good speech can bring a revolution but a bad speech can start a civil war.


It seems that we have finally overcome our membership crisis. Our meeting on 10th March, 2011 at Beach Luxury hotel was a success. The Presiding officer was TM Fahim and Sergeant at arms was TM Haris. We had more than twenty people present. The Toastmaster of the meeting was TM Sajjad. TM Nazir was the Table Topics Master and General Evaluator was TM Izhar. TM Bakshi evaluated the Table Topics.

The roles for the day included TM Shahrukh as the Word-master and the Grammarian. Ah counter was TM Haris while Timer was TM Mehmood. Vote Counter was TM Dr. Avan.

Prepared speeches were given by TM Maneck and TM Tayab. TM Maneck was evaluated by TM Shahrukh while TM Tayeb was evaluated by TM Fahim.

The winner of the Table Topics was TM Haris and TM Maneck took home the trophy for the best prepared speaker. The meeting was concluded by some very powerful words by our dear president, “a good speech can bring a revolution but a bad speech can start a civil war.”
