Plan, Prepare and Drill.

Our last meeting was a proof that our membership crisis is no more. The hard work of TM Sajjad and TM Fahim has finally paid off. The meeting was held on 17th March, 2011 at the hotel Beach Luxury. The original time was 7:00 p.m. but we started a bit late.

The big three for the evening were TM Fahim as the Toastmaster of the meeting, TM Shahrukh as the Table Topics Master, TM Sameer as the general Evaluator and TM Sajjad as the Table Topics Evaluator. TM Fahim explained us how can we act during a crisis. We were informed that most of the deaths are caused by the fire but we won’t have a fire extinguisher or smoke detector in our houses. We should not run during an earthquake and should at least conduct fire drill exercise, at least, twice a month.

The roles were played by TM Izhar as the Timer and the Ah-Counter, TM Shahrukh as the Vote-Counter, TM Fazal Rahim as the Grammarian and Word-Master was TM Iqbal. The word of the day was Focus.

Prepared speeches were delivered by TM Haris and TM Tahir. TM Haris repeated his project form the Basic Communication Manual and was evaluated by TM Fahim. TM Tahir is our new member and presented his first speech, the Ice Breaker. He was evaluated by TM Fazal Rahim.

The winner of the Table Topics was TM Naved Chandna and the winner of the Prepared Speeches was TM Haris.
