life is a prepaid card with a limited validity

Our meeting started with the Toastmasters pledge. After observing the oath, the Sergeant at Arms, TM Haris, handed the lectern to our club President, TM Fahim. Our meeting started at 6:30 p.m. at Beach Luxury Hotel on 21st April, 2011. Out of 19, four were guests who were present at the meeting.

Toastmaster of the Meeting was TM Mehmood, Table Topics Master was TM Salman Panjwani and General Evaluator was TM Izhar.

TM Panjwani conducted the session beautifully. He assigned the topics by also showing them the picture on multimedia. The theme for the Table Topics was Leadership.

TM Izhar was assisted by TM Adnan as the Ah-counter, TM Fazal as the Grammarian, TM Haris as the Timer TM Aqeel as the Vote-Counter and TM Fahim as the Word-master. Word of the was 'Tranquility.' Table Topics Evaluator was TM Haneef Sattar.

In Prepared Speeches session, TM Tahir, TM Adnan, TM Khalid and TM Shahrukh presented their speeches. They were evaluated by TM Haris, TM Fahim, TM Haneef and DTM Fazal, respectively.

Some good use of English was seen like when someone said that ‘life is a prepaid card with a limited validity’ or when someone said that ‘Toastmaster is the way of life.’ Props were used beautifully by the prepared speakers in their prepared speeches and it was said and agreed by everyone that ‘having fun is a good way to learn.’

Winner of the Table Topics session was TM Haris and TM Jann Ali was the runner-up. Winner of the prepared speeches was TM Tahir and TM Adnan was the runner-up.
