The boss's jokes are always funny

We had a wonderful meeting on April 28th, 2011. Our venue was Beach Luxury hotel and time of our meeting was 6:30 p.m. Our presiding officer of the meeting was TM Fahim and TM Haris was the Sergeant-at-Arms.

Toastmaster of the Evening was TM Khalid, Table Topica Master was TM Atif and TM Dr. Avan was the General evaluator. TM Bakshi was the Table Topics Evaluator.

The roles included TM Dr. Avan as the Timer, TM Tahir as the Grammarian, the Ah-counter and the Vote-Counter was TM Farid and Word-master was TM Sajjad. The word of the day was ‘diligent.’

Table topics session was amazing. Interesting quotes were presented with a little bit of their background. TM Hera was suppose to choose between hell and heaven for the sake of friendship, TM Farooq spoke about leader and confidence, TM Fahim explained that guests would smell after 3 days, TM Bakshi told us to forget our bad memories if we want to live a happy life, TM Nadeem Chandna made it clear that boss's jokes are always funny, TM Dr. Avan informed us about the soar throat, TM Haris made us realised that if man is not perfect then why practise and our last speaker was TM Farid who informed us that life is not at the other end of the cigarette but it is on T.V.












In middle of the sessions, videos of the Toasmasters champions were played for us to learn and improve our speaking. The title of our favourite speech was, ‘the sink full of green tomatoes.’




Prepared speeches were delivered by TM Mansoor (Ice-Breaker) who was evaluated by TM Bajshi, TM Aqeel (Project three from Competent Communicator Manual) who was evaluated by TM HAris, TM Jaan Ali (Ice-Breaker) who was evaluated by TM Fahim and TM Shahrukh (Project two from Specialty speeches) who was evaluated by TM Farid.

TM Nadeem Chandna was the winner and TM Haris was the runner-up for the Table Topics session. TM Shahrukh was the winner and TM Mansoor was the runner-up for the prepared speeches session. TM Bakshi was the winner and TM Farid was the runner-up for the best Evaluator.
