Persistence is the key.

Our last meeting was on 31st March, 2011 at hotel Beach Luxury. The attendance was little thin as compared to our last meeting but we had enough to assure a smooth sailing. The meeting started at 7:00 p.m. but it was decided by the show of hands to change the meeting time to 6:30 p.m.










For big three, TM Shahrukh was the Toastmaster of the Meeting, TM Bakshi was the Table Topics Master and TM Umer was the General Evaluator.


The roles were performed by TM Farid as the Timer, TM Fahim as the Grammarian, TM Fazalur Khan as the Ah-counter, TM Haris as the Vote-counter and TM Sajjad as the Word Master. The word of the day was ‘Persistence.’


Four prepared speeches were delivered. TM Khalid delivered his Ice-Breaker and he was evaluated by TM Sajjad. TM Aqeel delivered his second project from the Competent Communicator Manual and was evaluate by TM Izhar. TM Farid delivered his speech from the advance manual of Entertaining Speaker, ‘A Dramatic Talk’ and he was evaluated by TM Umer. The last meeting of the evening was the second project from the competent communicator manual by TM Adnan and he was evaluated by TM Fazalur Khan.

Table Topica were evaluated by TM Hanif Sattar.

The winner of the Table Topics Session was TM Haris. TM Khalid wan the award for the best Prepared Speech. And finally, TM Hanif Sattar was the winner of Best Evaluator.

We are scheduled to meet next week on 7th April, 2011 at 6:30 p.m.
